Red Polished Bowl
Pottery bowl in Red Polished (mottled) ware; hand-made; depressed hemispherical body on a flattened base, with a slightly concave round depression on the underside; four projections on rim; one pierced lug. Made of buff clay covered in a polished slip, fired reddish-orange but with mottling in places; decorated with incised zig-zags below the lip, traces of white fill in the incisions.
