Description:

Pottery bowl in Red Polished I ware; hand-made; tulip-shaped body with a flat nipple base and (probably) four plaque-like vertical concave lugs from the rim; slipped and polsihed; red from the base, shading to grey-black at rim and on interior; white-filled incised decoration; badly damaged and restored.
