White Slip Wish-Bone Bowl
Pottery bowl in White Slip ware; hand-made; hemispherical body on a rounded base; plain rim; large wish-bone handle just below the rim; made of coarse clay covered with a cream-white slip, decorated with brown and orange paint: wavy horizontal lines alternating with pairs of horizontal straight lines below the rim, vertical paralle lines around the body, vertical row of dots framing a wavy line; the shape of the vessel is distorted from firing.
