Black Polished Bowl
Pottery bowl in Black Polished ware; hand-made; hemispherical body on a rounded base; slightly incurving rim; pierced lug just below rim; made of fairly coarse gritty clay, and covered with a polished slip fired black throughout the body; decorated with incised motifs filled with lime: groups of oblique strokes between parallel lines on upper part of body, hatched zig-zags and triangles on the lower body, concentrics on the base.
