Bowl
Bowl: A deep bowl with a short foot and a splayed base, a flared rim and two horizontal handles, one at each side. The bowl is decorated in the White Painted II or according to White Painted III type in matt brown. The clay is greenish buff, heavily gritted, evenly fired medium hard. in plain greenish surface finish. The decoration is simply of thick dark brown bands along its rim and the lower part of the exterior of the body. The main body of the bowl on both sides has three sets of small concenrtic circles with solid circles in their middle in dark brown . The handles have dark brown decoration, shadowed on the body of the bowl. The interior of the bowl also has three thick brown bands along the rim, lower interior and a large circle on the floor with reserved centre. The bowl was repaired and there are a few small sherds missing. (Overall: 170 mm x 275 mm) - Made of Pottery Culture: Cypro-Geometric II
