Black-on-Red Dish
Pottery dish or bowl in Black-on-Red ware; wheel-made; wide, somewhat carinated body on a turned, but slighly rounded base; sligh inturning rim; pair of opposing horizontal loop handles; buff micaceous clay with similar slip, decorated in purple-brown paint: large spiral inside surrounded by a broad band, outside is a band of fine parallel lines with broader bands on the rim and base, solid handles.
