Black-on-Red Bowl
Large pottery bowl in Black-on-Red ware; wheel-made; deep carinated body on a raised ring base; wide rim, chamfered inwards; pair of opposing triple-rib handles; orange clay and thin matt red slip (much eroded), decorated in black paint: bands of fine concentric circles around the body, inside and out, geometric decoration below each handle; surface calcinated and pitted in many places, rim is cracked.
