Black-on-Red Bowl
Large pottery bowl in Black-on-Red ware; wheel-made; deep, slightly carinated body on a turned ring base; pair of opposing loop handles (one lost); orange-brown clay (some mica) and red slip, decorated in brown to black paint: outside are bands of fine parallel lines on the lower body, a broad band below the rim, solid handles framed by loops; inside are concentric circles formed of fine parallel lines below the rim and midway down the body, bull's-eye motif in the centre.
