White Painted Wishbone Bowl
Pottery bowl in White Painted V ware in Fine Line Style; hemispherical body with plain everted rim; vertical wishbone handle rising form the rim; clay not visible but white slip is painted with brown bands of finely drawn parallel lines and chevrons; continuous wavy band between parallel lines below rim; handle decorated with oblique, horizontal and vertical parallel strokes; vessel comprises two coils of clay; the back of the handle has been shaved with a sharp implement.
