White Painted Wishbone Bowl
Pottery shallow bowl in White Painted V; handmade; roughly hemispherical bowl with everted rim and a horizontal wishbone handle; buff clay with a buff slip, decorated with orange paint; outside, the top part of the bowl under the rim is decorated with latticed diamonds framed by encircling lines, whilst underneath two group of five lines cross at the centre; inside the bowl, a wavy and straight line encircle the rim; repaired from several pieces.
