Pottery tankard in White Painted V ware; handmade; squat globular body with round base,a wide neck and an everted rim; handle fromrim to shoulder with a thumb-grip projection at the top; pale clay with buff slip and brown painted decoration; on the neck the pattern is a zigzag lattice pattern and on the body alternating zigzag and lattic patterns between vertical lines.
