Pottery zoomorphic (animal-shaped) jug in red Polished ware; hand-made; spherical-ovoid barrel-shaped body on four feet (one damaged); tall tubular spout with a cutaway mouth; vertical handle arching from nody to base of mouth; seven lugs with 'string-holes', including on in the 'tail' position; made of buff-orange clay covered with a red polished slip and decorated with raised bands and incised strokes; surface very worn and chipped in places.
