Pottery jug with vertical handle, probably a dipping jug, in Red Polished Mottled ware; hand-made; deep oval body with round base and a short wide neck with everted rim; angular vertical handle rising from rim to shoulder, opposite a small pierced vertical projection on the shoulder; slipped in red and polished without decoration and fired to a mottled red and black colour; some chips on the rim.
