Bronze bowl
In the tondo, four wild goats in a stand of papyrus The large bowl has a pair of handles and a rim ornamented with small knobs. The central, slightly recessed tondo is decorated with a rosette framed by a guilloche on which stand four wild goats. Behind them appears a stylized stand of papyrus. This is one of a group of chased metal bowls in which Egyptianizing motifs are particularly evident. 2in. (5.1cm) Other: 12 1/8in. (30.8cm)
