Jug
Jug: A very large wheel made jug, restored from different fragments, the no 26 and 31 from Evreti tomb IIIA, the neck and the handle no 6 from chamber IIIB of the same tomb or as Catling pointed from other tombs but attributed to Evretii IIIB but not included in the initial inventory excavation reords. The jug has a ring base a long body, a thick and short neck with a ridge at its base and a well moulded rim that is well defined with two rings. Type ICa with a black slip and vertical reeding on the body, rather erratic . The clay is buff with some grit, evenly fired medium hard and is in dark red wash.
