Bearded Votary Statue
Limestone statue of a bearded votary, probably male (but anatolomiacal features very indistinct), dtressed in Ionian Greek style; the figure is standing, facing forward with both arms by the sides with clenched fists (hands very schematically rendered); the body is broken away below the line of the knee; oval face with a slender nose and impassive mouth; oval eyes bulging forward from the sockets but with a flattened surface; the hair is arranged in three plaits on each side of the head syrface offrom the d. h her arms by the sides of the body; broken away below knees.
