Bichrome Amphoriskos
Small pottery jar or amphoriskos in Bichrome ware; wheel-made; ovoid body on a low, slightly concave base; tall, wide neck tapering upwards, with an everted rim; two opposing handles; buff clay and slip, decorated in black and purple paint: bands or broad and narrow lines around the body and below the rim inside, frieze of large, criss-crossing strokes between the handles, possibly stylised fronds.
