Bichrome Amphora Jar
Small pottery jar (amphora) in Bichrome ware; wheel-made; ovoid-globular body on a raised flat base with rounded edge; conical neck and rounded everted rim; pair of opposing vertical handles; pale buff clay and slip, decorated with brown and purple paint: frieze of leaves on the neck, bands on shoulder and foot, lattice-panels framing single leaf or tree motifs on the body; St. Andrew's crosses under the handles.
