Bichrome Red Amphora
Pottery amphora in Bichrome/Bichrome Red Ware ware; wheel-made; globular-biconical body on a ring base; short cylindrical neck with a thick, everted rim (squared section); pair of opposing lopp handles. Made of fairly coarse buff clay, surface fired black with large white lattice pattern painted between the handles and alternating black and white dots on a reserved band on white at the junction of the body and neck. The decoration is better preserved on the very similar GR 1894,11-1.311 from the same tomb.
