Bichrome Red Ware Krater
Pottery Bichrome-Red ware crater (wine-mixing bowl) or jar; wheel-made; ovoid-spherical body on a high splaying foot; low but wide cylindrical neck; everted horizontal rim; pair of opposing handles of composite form: double-rib vertical handles connected to the body by a triple-rib support. Made of buff clay with a dull red slip, decorated with red, black and white paint: bands, panels of lotus-flowers and concentric circles.
