Bichrome Ware Amphora

Pottery two-handled jar (amphora) in Bichrome Ware; wheel-made; ovoid-biconical body on a flat base; wide verical neck with everted rim; only one of the original two strap handles remains, extending from shoulder to rim. Made of buff-cream clay decorated with brown and purple paint: bands around the body and a plant motifs framed by vertical straight and wavy lines on the shoulder, ladder pattern on handle(s).
