Bichrome Amphora
Pottery jar (amphora) in Bichrome Ware; wheel-made; ovoid body on a ring base; tall and wide cylindrical neck, slightly concave, with a thick everted rim; pair of opposing horizonal handles, sloping upwards. Made of cream-buff clay decorated with brown and red paint: chequer-pattern between the handles, alternating red and brown bands on the neck and below the chequer board.
