Bichrome Red Spouted Jug
Pottery spouted jug in Bichrome Red ware; wheel-made with applied details; ovoid body on a hollow pedestal base; long tubular spout rising at an angle from mid- body, pair of breasts above; the neck is modelled in the form of a female head, with applied details such as pellet eyes and curls and pairs of plaited tresses hanging down each side of the face; she wears a double choker around her neck, also formed of applied discs of clay; single arching handle from the shoulder to the rop of the female head.
