Red Slip Lekythos
Pottery lekythos or flask in Red Slip ware; wheel-made; baggy ovoid body on a low ring base enclosing a raised disc; carinated shoulder, narrowing to a neck with a central ridge; flat, everted rim (partly missing); small arching handle from shoulder to neck-ridge; buff clay with a dark red slip, worn away or fired black in many places; small hole in the lower body; surface also heavily calcinated and denting, probably in the kiln during firing.
