Bichrome Red Amphora
Pottery amphora (jar) in Bichrome Red ware; wheel-made; ovoid body on a disc base; wide cylindircal neck with a thick, rounded rim; pair of small vertical loop handles on the shoulder of the vessel. Made of buff clay covered with a lustrou slip, fired red, decorated with black and white paid: bands around the body, and white dots round base of neck.
