Bichrome Red Jug
Pottery jug in Bichrome-Red ware; wheel-made; globular body on a ring base; short tubular (slight concave) neck neck with a trefoil mouth; double-ribbed handle from shoulder to rim. Made of fine buff clay - fired to a red colour - over which is black painted decoration: pattern of intersecting bands and concentrics; base split and surface discoloured by fire.
