White Painted Bichrome Dish
Pottery dish in White Painted/Bichrome ware; wheel-made;shallow body with convex sides on a low ring base; slightly everted rim; pair of opposing lug handles, triangular shaped with, pierced at the apex with small projects at each side. Made of orange clay with a buff slip and decorated with red to purple and brown paint: on the exterior are red-purple concentric bands of varying widths (including within the area of the ring base), on the interior are brown concentric bands. Surface chipped and worn in many places, and the slip is missing over a large portion of the interior.
