White Painted Flask
Pottery flask in White Painted ware; wheel-made; barrel-shape body with a prominent nipples on each end; narrow neck, with a ridge at junction with handle, flaring upwards to a trumpet mouth; square-profiled rim; single vertical loop handle; buff, slightly gritty clay and slip, decorated in matt brown paint: concentric bands on the body, neck and inside rim, bull's eye motif on each end of barrel, latticed lozenge-shaped motifs at base of handle and opposite below neck.
