Late Cypriot Bucchero Jug
Small pottery jug in Late Cypriot Bucchero Handmade ware; globular body on a splaying ring base; tapering cylindrical neck with everted rim: the slightly chamfered edge has a groove down the middle; vertical stripe handle with square profile from rim to shoulder; ridge at junction of the neck runs around the vase, vertical relief ribbing from the neck to just above the base; dark-pink buff clay with a thin matt brown to black slip: the surface of the neck has been finished with a tool.
