Pottery Base Ring II ware jug; hand-made; piriform body on a flat base; tall cylindrical neck (prominent ridge at junction with body); everted rim with trefoil mouth; strap handle from rim to shoulder; two incised crosses on handle. Orange fabric with grey core and a semi-burnished black slip; numerous small pits over the surface, chipped rim.
