Base Ring II Painted Jug
Pottery Base Ring II ware small jug; hand-made; cylindrical neck, widening slightly towards top, flaring rim with indented lip; vertical strap handle from upper neck to shoulder, two incised lines down exterior; ovoid body with broad low ring base; angular relief ridge at neck to body join; decorated in white paint with sets of five lines executed with multiple brush tool, horizontal on neck, diagonal on body; thin matt very dark brown slip, brown fabric; paint and slip only preserved on one side of vessel.
