Base Ring II Painted Jug

Pottery Base Ring II ware jug; hand-made; tall neck, widening slightly towards top; everted rim with indented lip; vertical strap handle from upper neck to shoulder; ovoid body with broad low ring base; decorated in white paint with sets of six lines executed with multiple brush tool, horizontal on neck, zig-zag on body and horizontal on lower body and shoulder; thin grey to dark brown slip, with slightly lustrous traces of burnishing preserved.
