Pottery Base Ring I ware juglet; hand-made; long narrow neck tapering to trumpet mouth; vertical strap handle from mid neck to shoulder with two relief ridges at neck join, flanged with pronounced terminal in relief at body join; biconical body and low ring base; decorated with incised and relief decoration, herringbone pattern on lower handle and relief spiral and incised relief ridges on upper body and maximum diameter; thin lustrous brown slip, worn in places; brown clay with grey core; damaged on lower body and base.
