Pottery Base Ring I ware juglet; hand-made; long narrow neck tapering to trumpet mouth; vertical strap handle from upper neck to shoulder with two hatched relief ridges at neck join; squat carinated body and low ring base; decorated two wavy, horizontal relief snakes with heads at front of body, both with incised hatching; thin lustrous brown slip, burnished and worn in places; brown clay with grey core.
