Pottery Base Ring I ware jug; hand-made; tall neck, widening towards top, everted rim with indented lip; vertical strap handle from upper neck to shoulder; ovoid body with broad low ring base; decorated with double horizontal relief ridge at neck to handle join and a single relief ridge at neck to body join, two antithetic curved relief ridges on body opposite handle; thin, lustrous mottled orange to brown slip; burnished; light brown fabric.
