Base Ring Ware Juglet
Pottery Base Ring I ware juglet; hand-made; globular body on a trumpet-shaped ring base; tall narrow neck with flaring rim; strap handle from mid-neck to shoulder. Made of orange clay fired grey in places; covered with a burnished slip fired unevenly from orange to brown-black; unusual, incised zig-zag pattern on body and neck; surface pitted.
