Black Polished Flask
Flask or bottle in Black Polished I ware; hand-made; ovoid-globular body with a round base; tall tapering neck with everted rim; pierced string hole opposite each other below the rim; made of fairly coarse buff clay covered with a polished slip (now very worn) fired black throughout the vessel; incised decoration with traces of lime fill: strings of lozenges along the length of the neck, horizontal lines at the base of the neck, triangles framing horizontal lines on the body with groups of incised annules.
