Limestone head of Herakles
Herakles was distinguished among Greek heroes in having been received by the gods into Mount Olympos. He was popular throughout the Greek world, including Cyprus. This head was originally part of a small statue. Overall: 6 1/4 x 7 3/8 x 3 3/8 in. (15.9 x 18.7 x 8.6 cm)
