Porphyrios Dikaios

Eminent Cypriot-born archaeologist whose discoveries contributed greatly to the early history of the island, particularly the Neolithic and Chalcolithic phases. He was Curator of the Cyprus Museum between 1931 and 1960 during which time he excavated at sites including Enkomi, Erimi, Khirokitia, Salamis and Sotira.
