Barbara Milne

Born in Aberdeen in 1936, Milne’s fascination with Cypriot culture evolved into a curating a small collection of around 25 - 30 artefacts. Most of her collection was from the Cypro Geometric periods.

She visited the island often in the 1960s and in modern times. During these earlier visits she purchased numerous artefacts from the local art markets.

After her passing most of this collection was later sold and dispersed. We hold one item from her collection, a Cypro Geometric Black on Redware Jug.
