The Metropolitan Museum of Art
The MET hosts one of the most impressive collections of Cypriot antiquities. It also has a brilliant website that is easily browsable.
The reason their collection is so impressive is thanks to Cesnola, who brought back approximately 6,000 artifacts from Cyprus on his expeditions.
We host a large part of the collection on this website, to allow for easier browsing and referencing in our articles. Each artifact contains the museums accession number, allowing you to easily find out more through the Museum website.
