Near Pair of Middle Bronze Age Pitchers
Near Pair of Middle Bronze Age Pitchers, circa 1800-1600 B. C. , red ware with black slip and red paint decoration, bulbous form with strap handle to tall neck terminating in a flaring spout. These pieces were likely produced by the same potter. Both with very old collection numbers in red and black ink. 9. 25 in. and 8 in. Each pitcher is affixed with a metal ID disc reading "C. M. "Wear and light encrustations; loss to the smaller pitcher's spout. Sale Price: $600
