Head from a votive statue

Head from a votive statue: A small male head from a votive statue. The face of the male is slightly turned to the right and facing upwards with a faded smile. He wears a wreath of leaves and has a thick line of possibly braided hair or arranged in a roll on the forehead. The male wears a fillet at the crown of the head. The hair is long at the back of the neck only part of which is surviving. The head was split into two with a heavy crack running across the forehead and it has been glued together. Part of the nose is missing. The eyes are long and flat and very worn and it is doubtful whether they had lids.
