Miniature Amphora
Miniature Amphora: A miniature amphora of the Type 1B decorated in Red Slip I. The amphora has only one out of the two side vertical handles which were opposite to each other. The amphoriskos foot is conical and splaying. Red clay, light buff with some grit, fired medium hard. Glossy and pale golden red surfac finish with horizontal burnishing marks. A small piece of the body and almost half of the rim are missing and there is only one out of the two handles. (Overall: 70 mm x 67 mm x 56 mm; 2 3/4 in x 2 5/8 in x 2 3/16 in) - Made of Pottery Culture: Cypro-Geometric III
