Terracotta Votary Figure
Feet and lower parts of garments of a fairly large terracotta figure, possibly a male votary; hollow, probably modelled in the round; the figure is standing frontally on a low base, wearing a ankle-length robe with numerous folds, over which is an outer garment, presumably a long cloak, which extends almost as far as the robe; the feet are carefully modelled, including his sandals; the traces of a vertical object which rested close to the right foot, perhaps a staff (?), are visible; made of thick but fairy fine buff clay fired to orange on the surface.
