White Painted Oinochoe
Pottery oinochoe or jug in White Painted ware; wheel-made; globular body on a ring base; narrow conical neck with a trefoil mouth; vertical double-ribbed handle arching from shoulder to rim; reddish clay and cream-buff slip, decorated in brown paint: large vertical concentric circles on the sides intersected at the shoulder by a horizontal band; groups of smaller concentric circles in the spaces between; straight and wavy lines on the neck; three arrow-head motifs on the shoulder below the mouth; pair of eyes on the mouth; surface worn and rim is chipped.
