White Painted Amphoriskos
Pottery amphoriskos (jar) in White Painted ware; wheel-made; depressed ovoid body, carinated above and below, on a flattened base; tall concabe neck with an everted rim; pair of opposing lopp handles from shoulder to rim. Made of cream-buff clay decorated with red-brown paint: three stylised trees on each side of body; the central one painted with thicker bands than those on either side, band and wavy-line on neck.
