White Painted Oinochoe
Large pottery oinochoe or jug in White Painted ware; wheel-made; globular body on a small foot; short conical neck with trefoil mouth; arched handle from shoulder to rim; buff clay and drab slip, decorated in dull dark brown paint: on each side are two large spirals, bordered by thick bands, converging in a central bull's-eye motif; narrow rings around the neck, stripe down the handle with a cross-bar at the top; lip is also painted.
