Terracotta mule or donkey with applied collar and saddle-cloth; hand-made; cylindrical body on short stumpy legs stretched forwards; tail rests along back left leg; long face with pointed ears: a small forelock is visible between the base of the ears; applied collar and saddle-cloth added with separate pieces of clay; made from buff clay decorated with red and black paint: ladder-pattern on forelegs.
