Banded Frog Stamp-seal
Dark red and white banded chalcedony stamp-seal in form of a frog; the body is rendered fairly schematically, but effectively: bulging eyes, wide open mouth, and clearly defined back legs (but none on the front); crudely engraved design on the underside, possibly including drill-holes: a crowned(?) Bes fighting holding front paws of two lions to his chest; underneath on one side is what appears to be a rock or ledge; hole pierced through longitudinally for suspension.
